Release & Recovery – Pilates With Marilyn Ep 7
We’re so excited to be introducing the concept of release and recovery.
Our muscles work against each other in oppositional pairs like a pulley system to move our bodies. And when we have tight muscles it can inhibit the operation of the oppositional pair.
Additionally, when we work and work and work and we never release our muscles get nice and tight and strong but they’re bound up. When we release our fascia, we release our muscles, we allow that length and tension into that muscular relationship allowing for more performance and power and activation in what we do.
So join me this week for some self-myofascial release in our feet and plantar fascia and a full-body stretch and recovery. I’m so excited for you to enjoy this rejuvenation.
