Echinacea purpurea

In this new age, paradigm shift of the coronavirus outbreak, more and more people are looking for ways to boost their immune systems in order to stay healthy and fight the virus. Covid-19 can be prevented with conscious cleaning actions, personal protection equipment, staying at home, avoiding interaction with people who may be infected and not know it and boosting your immune system with healthy, organic food and medicinal herbs.

Last week, I planted many echinacea seeds in my nursery, although the flowers won’t be ready to harvest for months from now and the roots won’t be ready to harvest for 4 years, it makes me feel good to have started the process. Planting seeds in the spring, getting my hands in the soil and enjoying these sunny days between the rain all lifts my spirits and pulls me out of my winter hibernation. I am blessed to work the land on The Villa and am giving gratitude to everyday I get to stay home, be surrounded by people who love me and eat delicious healthy food.

Echinacea is a key medicinal herb that has a tonic action on the body’s immune system. Known by 19th-century Americans as Indian Snakeroot (due to the usage of treating snakebites from the natives), the herb has a potent ability to counter infection, especially viral and bacterial, including clearing toxins from the body. It is commonly taken as a preventative and treatment for upper respiratory infections such as colds, flus and coughs. Clinical research into echinacea has confirmed that it increases the number of white blood cells and their strength of action. The polysaccharides inhibit the ability of viruses to take over cells, while the alkylamides are antibacterial and antifungal. Research supports the use of echinacea to prevent colds and respiratory infections resulting in air travel. The herb is also helpful in treating allergies such as asthma.

Echinacea is an amazing immune boosting herb, I recommend  ordering a few grams of dried echinacea root from Mountain Rose Herbs or any organic labeled product on amazon

Other Antiviral herbs: Licorice root,  Ginger, Garlic, Ginseng, Oregano leaves, Cloves, Sage leaves, Basil leaves, Lemon Balm leaves, Peppermint leaves, Rosemary extract, Astragalus root, Dandelion roots.

Following the birth of my first child, I bled to death. During this Near-Death Experience, I found myself surrounded by multitudes of light beings, who initiated me into the world of subtle energies and healing vibrations. At that moment, I realized that all beings create their own unique vibration—their soul song. Each person’s soul song makes up the great Choir of Life.

My work is to awaken humanity to the healing power of their unique sound. I have traveled the world and the astral realms, cultivating healing techniques to help people awaken to the power of their own voice and to the healer within. I blend ritual, breathwork, guided journeys, sound healing, yoga and community song. I call this Ceremonial Energy Medicine.
